App Store and Play Store subscription help
Important: Kovi does not directly process Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Apple and Google control billing, renewal, cancellation, and payment methods for store-managed plans.
How do I cancel my subscription on iPhone or iPad?
On iOS, cancellation is done in Apple account subscriptions settings. Open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Select Kovi and tap cancel. If you do not see Kovi there, check whether you are signed into a different Apple ID than the one used when you started the subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription on Android?
On Android, cancellation is done in Google Play subscriptions settings. Open Google Play, choose your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Kovi and choose cancel. If Kovi is missing, check if you are logged into a different Google account.
Why can't Kovi cancel my subscription for me?
Apple and Google own the store billing relationship for in-app subscriptions. Because of that, developers cannot directly cancel subscriptions inside the app or from support tools. The cancellation action usually must come from your store account settings.
What happens after I cancel?
Canceling stops the next renewal. Access normally remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that date, your account moves to the free experience unless you subscribe again.
I was charged after my free trial - why?
Free trials typically auto-renew into paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial end. To confirm timing, check your store subscription details where Apple or Google lists trial and billing dates.
How do I verify whether my subscription is active?
The most reliable status is in your App Store or Play Store subscription screen. In Kovi, you can also open the app to see whether features are currently unlocked.
How do I restore access on a new install or new device?
Make sure the device is signed into the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase. If restore fails, restart the app after confirming store account sign-in and internet connectivity.
What should I do if payment failed or renewal did not go through?
Update your payment method directly in Apple or Google billing settings, then retry renewal. If your subscription appears active in the store but Kovi still shows no access, send us a support email with your platform, purchase account email, and what you see in-app.
Can I switch plans, billing period, or payment method in Kovi?
Plan and billing method changes are usually handled in App Store or Play Store subscriptions, not in Kovi. Use store settings to change available options for your account.
I canceled but still see everything. Is that normal?
Yes. In most cases, access remains available through the end of the subscription period. If you think the expiry date is incorrect, compare Kovi access with the subscription expiration shown in your store account.
I think I was charged incorrectly. Can Kovi issue a refund?
For store-managed subscriptions, refund requests are handled by Apple or Google through their billing systems. Kovi support can help you identify what happened, but final billing actions are made by the platform where the purchase was processed.

How do I sign in again?
Open Kovi and choose sign in, then use the same provider you originally used (Apple, Google, or email). Using a different method can create a different account profile.
What if I forgot which sign-in method I used?
Try each available provider with your common accounts. If you still cannot find your data, email support with your device type and possible account emails so we can help you trace it.
How do I change my account email?
If your sign-in provider controls your identity (for example Apple or Google), account email behavior may depend on that provider. Contact support and we will guide you based on your specific sign-in setup.
How do I delete my account?
Email hey@koviapp.com from the email linked to your account and request deletion. Include any identifying details that help us verify ownership.
Troubleshooting
Fix common app issues
The app is not loading properly
Force close and reopen Kovi, confirm internet access, and update to the latest app version. Restart your device if the issue continues.
My access is not showing
Confirm your store subscription is active, verify you are signed into the correct Kovi account, then use restore in Kovi subscription settings.
The app crashed or froze
Update to the latest version and reboot your device. If crashes continue, send support your device model, OS version, and steps right before the crash.
I am not receiving reminders or notifications
Check device notification permissions for Kovi and verify reminder settings are enabled in-app. Low-power modes and focus modes can also suppress notifications.
